An Employees' Awareness in A Family Business Corporation / Company

Well, if you ask me why this topic

was given as title or I should say as discussion,

I can probably tell you

I read an article discussing about how an employees

who working in an family business

and his faith.

I bet you know what's the story behind this topic.

But, I try to discuss it in a more interesting way.
You can my company was an good example of family business.
My lady boss and her husband (who was an art director)
are working together at the company I'm current working in.
My boss was with my lady boss before.
Well, seeing this, you can visualize that complexity of the company.
Things getting a bit complicated and
too much relationship connection and restrain of ideas.
Not gossiping, but telling what is seen.
(You can tell why I wanted to leave my
current company so desperately.)

There is another example which I read
from a Chinese newspaper.
(Giving credits to Sinchew Newspaper and
an author named Hong Xue Zhen)

It was an old tale told with an character named George.
The story starts with George who works 5 years ago
at the big food manufacturing company.
George was a mid-level Supervisor
(May refer as head of department as well).

Due to the successful transformation of his company,
George become popular and getting great increment during his position.
George is serving the company for 15 years
and always getting the chance to helps his company to
increase sales by constantly went out oversea
to gets new opportunity for his company and
becoming the spokesperson everytime a new product launches.

During that time, due to his great ability,
a lot of other company offering him
a better salary and other great benefits.
But, he refused and staying loyal towards his current company,
thinking that he is popular somehow
and was familiar with the environment that he was in.

Everything seems to good until his boss' daughter
came back from oversea and going to take over
George's position.

You can expect now of what was going to happened to George.
 He was set off from his position.
Even so much effort you had put in,
one day George will gets such an ending.

I am not saying you don't need
to stay loyal to your company,
 but in the time your serve yourself
to your company with your best effort,
do remember to lift up yourself in the same time,
so that when such tragedy comes,
you still have a backup plan for yourself.

A family business corporation was a platform for growth,
as you can see the reality of real life and how they
present to you the way this society functions.
The other things that such corporation tells you is that,
no one can run away from such tragedy
of being replaced by "the own kind".
