The Art of Lying - Part I
Well, I believe no one can runaway from this topic.
If you telling me you never lie,
than either you are lying as well or
you better find a place to hide,
as this world is too dangerous to you.
Myself is a graphic designer.
Graphic? Designer?
Yes. When your are in this kinda jobs,
you are part of an advertiser.
You somehow have to lie,
to attract people to look at
your product and services.
So, what is lying?
According to wikipedia,
(Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lie)
"A lie is a statement used intentionally
for the purpose of deception.
The practice of communicating lies is called lying,
and a person who communicates
a lie may be termed a liar."
If you found the description above
not so understandable,
well, easy to say,
Your are not telling something true
to the person you talk to.
That's lying.
I admitted I do lies,
but I really don't like lying,
(the feeling is just guilty,
feel like vomiting)
especially to the person I trust the most,
I can't lie.
So, what is the topic about?
The art of lying?
Yes.
How we lie is a form of art as well,
I am not trying to beautify the act of lying,
but somehow its quite interesting to discover it.
I don't know what lying is really about,
but I know sometimes we have to lie,
so that we won't hurt someone we care badly.
For example, something trivia,
like you tell your girlfriends you
are not going to have a supper tonight
because you want her to stay fit.
But the fact is, you are broken
financially this month until
you can't afford for a supper.
But somehow, we know one lie
needs another lie to cover.
(To be continued... Stay tuned)
